Cookies
Only what the service currently needs.
The current application uses an essential cookie to keep a signed-in user connected to the correct role. No analytics or advertising platform is configured in the repository at present.
Essential sign-in cookie
When a student, tutor or administrator signs in, the application stores a session cookie so that protected pages can recognise the account. The service cannot provide authenticated areas without this cookie.
Public pages
Browsing the public pages does not currently require an analytics, advertising or personalisation cookie. The free sample stores its answer state only in the open browser page and does not save it to an account.
If tracking is added later
This notice and the website must be updated before any non-essential analytics, advertising, embedded media or similar tracking technology is enabled. Where UK law requires consent, those tools should remain disabled until the visitor has made a choice.
Browser controls
Most browsers allow cookies to be deleted or blocked. Blocking the essential session cookie will prevent account sign-in from working correctly.
