Working standards for online lessons
- A parent or carer should know when and where an online lesson is taking place.
- Lesson communication should use agreed RGTutors channels rather than personal social-media accounts.
- Tutors and students should not arrange private meetings outside the agreed tutoring service.
- Lesson notes should stay factual, relevant and accessible only to the people who need them.
- Any concern should be recorded and escalated through the approved safeguarding process, not investigated informally by a tutor.
Raising a concern
A parent, student or tutor should be able to report behaviour that feels unsafe, inappropriate or outside these boundaries without having to raise it with the person involved first.

Checks and claims
RGTutors should publish only safeguarding and vetting claims that can be evidenced for the individual tutor and the current operating model. This draft deliberately does not claim that checks, training or accreditations exist where the repository provides no verified record.
