Terms
Clear expectations for using RGTutors.
These draft terms describe the intended service in plain English. They are not final contractual wording and require RGTutors' genuine legal identity, pricing, cancellation terms and professional legal review before launch.
1. The service
RGTutors provides online tutoring support and a related maths-practice area. The exact tutor, lesson time, lesson length, fee and any agreed learning focus should be confirmed before a paid booking.
2. Consultation and tutor matching
The initial 15-minute consultation is free. A consultation does not guarantee that a particular tutor or time will be available. Tutor matching remains subject to suitability and availability.
3. Educational outcomes
RGTutors can provide explanation, practice and structure, but does not guarantee a grade, examination result, school outcome or admission decision. Students remain responsible for attending, participating and completing agreed work.
4. Accounts and access
Account details are for the named user and should not be shared. Initial access codes should be treated as temporary credentials. Users must not attempt to view another person’s information or interfere with the service.
5. Fees, cancellation and rescheduling
The current standard lesson fee is not yet supplied for publication. The final terms must state when payment is taken, how much notice is required to cancel or move a lesson, and when a refund or credit is available. Those rules must be agreed before paid bookings open.
6. Appropriate conduct
Students, families and tutors should communicate respectfully, follow the safeguarding boundaries, use agreed lesson channels and avoid sharing unlawful, harmful or irrelevant material.
7. Availability and changes
Reasonable maintenance and service changes may be required. The final contractual terms should explain responsibility for outages, missed lessons and circumstances outside either party’s control.
8. Contact and complaints
A genuine complaints process, response timescale, legal contact and postal address must be added before launch. Safeguarding concerns should use the separate safeguarding route.
